Transitional Space

My name is Annie. I am a birth doula and founder of Transitional Space Birth Services VT. I am here to accompany you prenatally, during birthing and as you get to know your newborn(s) (and yourself, anew). My work is holistic, confidential, and personalized, honoring your body’s innate intelligence, centering you and your baby’s autonomy and relationships, recognizing the vastness of you, and empowering you to experience the ecstatic and healing dimensions of birthing. A robust body of research grounds my work, together with my training in psychology, an abiding sense of place, and a vision of rural liberation.

I welcome all birthers and families. At the heart of my doula practice is my commitment that each birther, partner/supporting loved ones and baby will, through the birth experience, come to know life as a place they can inhabit with the fullness of their love, power and presence.
