Aubrey Carpenter, PhD, is a licensed clinical psychologist committed to helping caregivers navigate the ever-evolving challenge of parenting in these modern times.
She sees adults for individual psychotherapy, couples therapy, or family therapy. She brings nearly 20 years of clinical experience working with families, as well as specialized training in pediatric psychology and perinatal mental health, ensuring that caregivers never have to educate their therapist on what it means to adjust to postpartum or navigate the world with a medically complex child.
Dr. Carpenter also works with healthcare professionals who are facing burnout or their own vicarious trauma. Dr. Carpenter brings a holistic lens and wide range of evidence-based approaches to helping parents identify what they need to feel well, such as use of CBT, ACT, and psychodynamic/relational approaches.
She is eager about collaborating with other disciplines to ensure a well-rounded approach to care, such as working alongside psychiatrists, dietitians, doulas, lactation consultants, and more.
