Membership Options

Memberships are based on the size of the group joining. Everyone in the group enjoys the benefits of membership! Memberships are annual and auto-renew every year unless you cancel. This helps keep our community strong and resources sustainable.

Flexible Payment Options

We know that annual payments can be a stretch. If you’d like to spread out your membership across the year, you’ll have the option to choose that on the application. Members save money with annual payments.

Equity-Based Pricing

We offer 25% off memberships for BIPOC (Black, Indigenous, People of Color) to help counter systemic barriers in birth work and healthcare. Offered in trust as one small way to redistribute access and honor systemic inequity. No application or explanation required. Use code BIPOC at checkout.

  3. Once your application is reviewed and payment received, you will be listed on the website!

  • Memberships are based on the size of the group joining. You can join as an individual if you are a solo provider or as an individual as part of a larger business/organization, but you’ll only be listed as an individual and your individual services/products will be listed. If your membership type changes, please let us know and we’ll update your account accordingly.

  • Memberships are annual and auto-renew every year unless you cancel. This helps keep our community strong and resources sustainable.

  • Yes! While our primary option is an annual membership for simplicity and value, we offer monthly payment plans by request. You’ll have the option to choose monthly payments in your application. Payments auto-renew monthly until you cancel or change your membership. Membership works best when you commit to at least a year.

  • You can cancel anytime. If you cancel mid-cycle, your membership remains active until the end of your current billing period.

  • Our memberships are designed for year-long participation to provide a steady resource for Vermonters looking for support and also for members to experience the benefits of membership. We encourage members to stay connected as long as it’s valuable to them.

  • Our searchable directory helps families find you, and the community events offer networking opportunities. While we can't guarantee new clients, membership definitely increases your visibility and connections.

  • Fees support maintaining and growing the Vermont Birth Network website, hosting events and trainings, community outreach, marketing efforts and supporting equitable access efforts like our BIPOC membership pricing.

  • We offer monthly Lunch & Learns, in person community & networking events several times a year (like our annual summer potluck and winter cookie swap) and are always interested in doing more. Have an idea? Let us know! We also attend several pregnancy and family focused expos each year getting the word out to thousands of Vermonters.

  • Yes! We offer a reduced rate for BIPOC members to promote equity in birth work. No application or explanation required. Use code BIPOC at checkout.

  • Absolutely. Just reach out if your needs change and we’ll help you adjust your membership.
