Demi-Joy Carr is a birth and postpartum doula based in Vermont, originally from New York City.
With over a decade of experience as a nanny specializing in infant care, she was inspired to become a doula after her own birth experience in 2019.
Demi brings empathy, gentleness, and deeply personalized care to the families she supports. She is certified by Birthday Presence and Carriage House Birth and completed a two-year mentorship with Manhattan Birth.
Demi also offers lactation support and facilitates new parent groups, helping families feel empowered through birth and beyond.
When not supporting clients, she enjoys homeschooling her boys, spending time outdoors, and being at home with her family—something her doula work beautifully supports.
Demi also co-owns Nest & Gather , a community hub cultivating space and support for folks through pregnancy, postpartum, and early childhood.
