Alice Norris
My name is Alice Norris, and I am an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) and Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in postpartum and maternal–child health. I earned my Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Vermont and have supported mothers, babies, and families for over 25 years in hospital and community health settings.
I offer lactation care through my private practice, Blooming Babies, where I provide in-home and virtual breastfeeding consults, education, and support tailored to each family’s needs. I also teach private and group breastfeeding classes and offer select breast pumps through insurance, including Blue Cross Blue Shield of Vermont.
I believe that compassionate, knowledgeable support can be a critical part of meeting feeding goals, especially when challenges arise. My work is grounded in calm, affirming guidance and a deep respect for each family’s unique journey. I accept BCBS, Cigna, Aetna, and Medicaid and offer in-home, in-office, and virtual visits.
Alice provides in-home visits to clients throughout most of Chittenden County, Waterbury, Duxbury, Waitsfield, South Starksboro, Starksboro, and Monkton. She provides in-office visits at Richmond Wellness and Maitri in South Burlington in the GROW space. Virtual visits available also.
